Challenging Myself to Normalize My Finances and Create a Brighter Future by 2030

Spread the love

Hello, and thank you for visiting my blog.
I am currently living with a severe disability that I developed in mid-life. After experiencing a cerebral hemorrhage on the right side of my brain, I now live with hemiplegia. While everyday life and work have become more challenging, I’ve come to embrace the excitement of carving out a fulfilling life despite these hurdles.

In this post, I want to share my efforts to normalize my finances by 2030 and secure an annual income of 5 million yen through activities outside of my main job. I hope this inspires you to support my journey or even join me in pursuing your own goals.

Facing Life with a Sudden Disability
Ten years ago, I suddenly suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, which resulted in hemiplegia. Overnight, the life I once knew was turned upside down. My career, which had been progressing smoothly, faced limitations, and financial insecurity loomed large. However, amidst these challenges, I realized one vital truth: “No matter the circumstances, I can create a life that is uniquely my own.”

This realization gave rise to my commitment to a “parallel life” approach—combining multiple activities to create a lifestyle that suits me, free from rigid societal expectations. This mindset has become my guiding light in navigating life with a disability.

My Vision for 2030
My goals for 2030 are as follows:

Normalize my financial situation
Resolve debts and uncertainties to establish a stable and secure foundation for my life.

Earn an annual income of 5 million yen outside my primary job
I aim to achieve this through blogging, illustration work, and counseling.

These goals are more than financial targets—they are stepping stones toward a fulfilling life where I can turn my experiences into value and contribute to society.

Blogging: Building a Community Through Words
For me, blogging is more than just sharing information; it’s about connecting with others through my personal stories. By writing about my experiences as someone living with a disability and exploring the potential of a “parallel life,” I hope to inspire others facing similar challenges.

What I Aim to Share Through My Blog:
The realities of living with a disability
Tips for living authentically and sustainably
The possibilities and benefits of a parallel life approach
I strive to write articles that resonate with my readers and provide actionable insights. Seeing my words inspire someone to take their first step toward change is my greatest reward.

Illustration: A Creative Challenge Born from Rehabilitation
What started as a rehabilitation activity—drawing with my affected hand—has now grown into a new and exciting endeavor. My illustrations, shaped by the unique perspective of living with hemiplegia, have been well-received for their distinctive style.

Through online marketplaces and commissioned work, I’m slowly building a new stream of income. My goal is to make at least 1 million yen annually through my art by 2030 while continuing to explore and develop my creative potential.

Counseling: Supporting Others with Empathy
Having received so much support from others in my own journey, I now want to give back. With this in mind, I earned my counseling qualifications and currently provide online counseling sessions. My focus is on boosting self-esteem and helping others discover their unique paths in life.

By 2030, I aim to earn 3 million yen annually through counseling. More importantly, I hope to make a positive impact on as many lives as possible.

Why Your Support Matters
I believe that even with a disability, it’s possible to create a meaningful future. My journey is about proving this to myself and to others. But I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’d like to ask for your support.
