Hello everyone! Today, I’d like to share a new path I’ve decided to take in my life: making counseling and blogging my life’s work. If you’re reading this and feeling like you want to find a way to live more true to yourself, I hope you’ll stick with me until the end.
Utilizing the Side Job System to Pursue My Own Path
Until now, I’ve been balancing my job as a full-time employee while also working as a counselor on the weekends and holidays. Managing both my job and my passion for counseling hasn’t always been easy. But recently, I discovered that my company has a side job system in place, and I’ve decided to use this opportunity to expand my counseling activities.
This side job system is a real lifesaver for people like me who want to continue their full-time job while also pursuing something they’re passionate about. By taking advantage of this system, I can now devote more time and energy to counseling with confidence, without compromising my full-time work. It felt like I had taken the first step into a new stage of “parallel life,” where I can now fully commit to both of my passions.
The Role of a Counselor
Being a counselor means being there for others, listening to their worries, and helping them work through their problems. It’s not just a job but a mission to stand by people in their times of need, and through this process, I’ve found personal growth and learning as well.
What’s most rewarding about counseling is the connection between people. In our busy, stressful lives, we often lose the time to listen to our own inner voice. This can leave us feeling emotionally drained and disconnected from our true selves. As a counselor, I strive to offer support to those who are struggling, helping them to untangle their thoughts and emotions. It’s a role I take to heart, and now I’m able to share my insights through my blog, which brings me to my next point.
Expanding Connections Through Blogging
For me, blogging is an extension of my counseling work. It’s a way to reach out to those who might not have the opportunity to receive direct counseling but still need guidance. I use my blog as a platform to share my experiences, knowledge, and ways to maintain mental well-being with a broader audience.
Questions like:
“What does it mean to live true to myself?”
“How can I maintain my mental health?”
I believe many of you reading this might have similar questions. I know I have. When life gets busy, we tend to lose sight of what we truly want or value. That’s why, through my blog, I aim to provide tips on self-care and emotional balance while growing together with my readers.
Finding Your Own Life’s Work
As I’ve balanced my job and counseling, the concept of “life’s work” has become very meaningful to me. For me, life’s work isn’t just a way to make a living, but something that defines your life, giving it purpose and meaning.
For me, my life’s work is counseling and blogging. Through my experiences as a counselor, I want to share what I’ve learned with a wider audience through my blog. At the same time, I continue to learn and grow, and I hope to build a community where I can connect with others on this journey.
In Closing: Finding Your Own Path
If you’re reading this and feel the need to find your own path, I encourage you to first listen to your own inner voice. What do you truly value? What are you passionate about? Finding the answers to these questions is the first step to building your own life’s work.
While I’m still on this journey myself, I’m excited to continue moving forward with my new goal of making counseling and blogging my life’s work. I hope this post can inspire you in some way, helping you to take that first step towards your own personal path.
I look forward to continuing to connect with many of you through my counseling activities and blog, growing and learning together. Thank you for your support, and I hope you will continue to follow my journey!
