Hello, everyone! Today, I’d like to share a personal story about why I believe it’s so important to live as an “exceptionally unique individual.” Through my journey practicing parallel life, I’ve come to realize the value of breaking free from conventional molds and embracing the power of living differently. I hope you’ll find some resonance with my thoughts and feel inspired by this way of living.
The Frustration of Fitting Into a Mold
One of the things that has always bothered me throughout my life is the pressure to “fit into a mold.” Whether in school or at work, we’re often expected to follow a predetermined path. Society tells us that to build a stable career, we need to “do this” or “be like that,” following countless rules and expectations.
But I’ve always questioned why we have to confine ourselves to one specific mold. With so many interests and things I want to pursue, why should I limit myself to just one career or lifestyle? This question has been on my mind for years, and the answer I found was in something called “parallel life.”
What is Parallel Life?
Parallel life is about pursuing multiple careers and lifestyles simultaneously. For example, I work at a company while also running personal projects in different fields. This allows me to explore various interests without being confined to a single “mold,” and it enables me to maximize my potential.
To me, the true beauty of living a parallel life is that it allows me to be an “exceptionally unique individual.” I’m not just focused on building a stable career like everyone else; instead, I get to explore multiple fields, satisfy my curiosity, and create value in ways that are unique to me.
The Value of Being Exceptionally Unique
Choosing not to fit into the mold can be challenging at first. I’ve had people tell me things like, “You should focus on building a stable career,” or “You’ll lose focus if you try to do too many things at once.” But I knew deep down that those perspectives didn’t apply to me.
Instead, I believe that being exceptionally unique — by living differently and pursuing diverse interests — is actually a source of strength. Through my experiences, I’ve learned that embracing my uniqueness allows me to bring fresh perspectives and solutions to the table, things that might not occur to someone who only sticks to one career or lifestyle.
For instance, the skills and knowledge I gain in one project often help me solve problems or create something new in another. This is one of the major advantages of practicing parallel life.
The Courage to Choose Your Own Path
That said, living a parallel life isn’t always easy. There are moments of doubt, and sometimes I feel pressure from societal norms. In a world that often emphasizes following a “standard path,” choosing to remain an “exceptionally unique individual” takes courage.
Still, I am convinced that this way of life is the most natural and fulfilling for me. Through this blog, I want to reach out to others who feel the same discomfort with conforming to societal expectations and encourage you not to be afraid of embracing your unique way of living.
Looking Toward the Future
As I continue practicing parallel life, I will keep exploring new possibilities for myself. By choosing not to fit into a mold, I aim to remain an “exceptionally unique individual” who continues to provide fresh value to society.
I hope that those of you reading this will also cherish your uniqueness and find a way to live life on your own terms. By being our true, authentic selves, we can contribute something truly special to the world and open up new opportunities for the future.
