The main reason I continue blogging every day is deeply rooted in a simple thought: “We never know when we’ll die, so I want to leave a living record, a kind of log, behind.” This is not just about keeping a personal diary; it’s an act of sharing with others, hoping that they resonate with my experiences and find meaning in my words.
Life is unpredictable. Illness, accidents, natural disasters—these are things we cannot foresee. I learned this lesson firsthand when I faced a major health issue that drastically changed the course of my life. What I had once taken for granted disappeared in an instant, and that experience taught me something invaluable: living in the present is what truly matters. While planning for the future is important, what’s even more essential is recording the thoughts and actions we have now.
For me, blogging is the perfect way to express this “living in the present.” It allows me to document my daily experiences, feelings, and reflections, and share them with others. For someone like me, who has experienced significant life changes due to illness and disability, putting my experiences into words and sharing them with the world is a powerful form of connection. Over time, I’ve come to realize just how empowering it is to share those experiences with others.
The idea that “we never know when we’ll die” might sound negative, but to me, it’s a positive motivator. Every day is a gift, and by recording how I lived it and what I felt, I believe I’m creating a testament to my existence. And more than anything, I hope my blog can be of some help to others going through similar struggles or those who are simply looking for answers in their own lives.
If readers can find some comfort, encouragement, or connection in what I write, it would mean the world to me. What I share may not be extraordinary, but if my words can touch someone’s heart or lift their spirits, that is my greatest reward.
That’s why I continue to blog every day. And even when my time here is done, I hope that my blog will remain online, offering my experiences and thoughts to others who might benefit from them. It is my wish that this record of my life will be shared widely, touch hearts, and leave a lasting impact.
As I continue to write each new entry, I do so with the hope that my experiences may serve as a small light for someone else’s journey.
