Sincerely Wishing for Everlasting Peace

Spread the love

As we step into a new year, what comes to mind is a heartfelt wish for “everlasting peace.” Last year, I wrote a blog post titled “Hating War,” where I shared my thoughts on the absurdity of war and the countless lives it takes. Many readers resonated with the post, but some pointed out, “Hatred alone won’t bring about change.” They were right—hatred alone cannot move us forward. This year, reflecting on those comments, I want to share a more positive and action-oriented message.

In this post, I will talk about my hopes for world peace, the happiness of children, and the humble joys of my married life. I hope these words will touch your heart and inspire you, even just a little.

What Peace Means to Me
Living as a person with a severe disability, I have faced many challenges. I’ve experienced societal indifference and inequality, and at times, outright unfairness. Yet, I’ve also been deeply touched by the kindness and compassion of others. These experiences have shaped my understanding that peace is not merely the absence of war, but a state where people care for each other, empathize, and feel secure in their lives.

Peace isn’t just a distant ideal—it exists in our daily lives. The small acts of kindness and the willingness to help someone in need form the foundation of peace. It’s in these everyday gestures that we can find its true meaning.

A Future We Owe to Our Children
Every time I see news about children suffering due to war or poverty, my heart aches. These children, who should be spending their days playing and learning, are instead losing their families, being deprived of education, and struggling merely to survive. They didn’t choose this life—it was forced upon them.

I firmly believe that offering help to these children is not the responsibility of “special people” alone. Each of us can make a difference through small but meaningful actions. Whether it’s donating, volunteering, or raising awareness of social issues, every action plants a seed of change.

Finding Peace in My Marriage
For me, the time I share with my wife represents “a small peace.” Despite the challenges of living with a disability, being able to laugh together and support one another is a profound blessing. Her presence gives me the strength to approach life with hope and positivity.

I believe that cherishing these moments of “small peace” can eventually contribute to a broader sense of peace. After all, peace begins in our homes and personal lives. When more people experience happiness in their daily lives, it creates a ripple effect that can transform the atmosphere of society as a whole.

A Wish for Everlasting Peace
I believe that the act of wishing for peace itself is a meaningful step toward action. By wishing, we change our mindset, which then shapes our actions. Those actions, in turn, inspire others, creating a ripple effect. This chain of events is, I believe, the key to achieving peace.

Everlasting peace is not something we can achieve overnight. But the fact that it’s a distant goal doesn’t mean we should give up on it. What matters is that each of us takes small steps within our capacity. Showing kindness, embracing differences, and sharing empathy—these are the small yet powerful steps we can take toward a more peaceful society.

A Request to You
To you who have read this far—could you help share this wish with others? A single person’s hope for peace may seem small, but when shared by many, it becomes a powerful force. And I truly believe that this force can deliver hope to children and future generations.

What my wife and I sincerely wish for is everlasting peace for the world, happiness for children, and, of course, happiness for you. I hope we can pray for this together and take actions, however small, to make it a reality.

Thank you for reading until the end. If my message resonated with you, I would be deeply grateful if you could share or support this post. Your encouragement means the world to me.
