The World Is Beautiful Because My Wife Is Here: The Reason I Can’t Give Up

Spread the love

At some point in our lives, we all may have felt, “I just hate this world.” The busyness of everyday life, the struggles we face, and the reality that things don’t always go our way can lead us to feelings of despair and helplessness. The contradictions and injustices in the world can make us think, “I just want to give up on everything.”

To be honest, I’ve felt that way too. After becoming disabled, I faced daily challenges in both my personal and work life, and I often found myself hating the world. But in those moments, one thing saved me.

“The world is beautiful because my wife is here.”

This simple realization changed everything for me.

Why We Hate the World
Modern society is complex, and life often feels like a series of disappointments. Economic worries, environmental issues, societal contradictions, and the pressure to conform can make us feel that there’s no hope. For me, living with a disability meant feeling constant frustration about not being able to move freely and facing daily struggles with those around me.

“Why do I have to live in a world like this?”

Every time that question crossed my mind, I felt overwhelmed by helplessness. Yet at the same time, a strong emotion kept me going: the feeling that I couldn’t give up.

The Reason I Can’t Give Up
Why can’t we give up, even when the world seems unbearable? The answer for me is simple: because my wife is here.

My relationship with my wife is the most precious thing in this world. No matter how hard life gets, our bond keeps me anchored to this world. Her smile, her voice, and the time we spend together are the reasons I keep going.

One day, after a particularly tough experience, I found myself deeply appreciating the simple act of having dinner with her. In that moment, I realized, “No matter how much I dislike the world, the fact that she is here makes it beautiful.” Her presence transforms this world into something special, even when everything else feels dark.

What Parallel Life Has Taught Me
The way I live, practicing what I call a “parallel life,” means not sticking rigidly to one way of thinking or living. Instead, I explore different options and create my own path. Through this lifestyle, I’ve learned that even in the most challenging situations, new possibilities can open up if we change our perspective.

When the world felt unbearable, my wife’s presence became the alternative perspective I needed. The time we share, the joy we experience together, is something irreplaceable. No matter how exhausted I feel, seeing her smile gives me the strength to keep going.

The World Built by Our Bond
Of course, my wife and I are not perfect. We have misunderstandings and moments where we don’t see eye-to-eye. Life is far from easy. But it’s the trust and love we’ve built that give us the strength to overcome any obstacle.

Time spent with my wife is a treasure. The days we share together create the “beauty” I find in this world. As long as she is by my side, I can’t give up on this world.

“The world is beautiful because my wife is here.”

This simple phrase holds my entire truth. No matter how much I dislike the world, her presence gives me hope. The bond we share lights up my life and shows me the path forward.

What Makes Your World Beautiful?
For those of you reading this, I’m sure you also have a reason you can’t give up on this world. It might be your family, your friends, or perhaps a dream or passion you’re pursuing.

The world can be cruel at times, and we all face moments of feeling beaten down. But within that, there’s always a reason we can’t fully let go. When you find that reason, the world transforms into a more beautiful place.

For me, that reason is my wife. The time we spend together makes this world a special place. That’s why, no matter what hardships come my way, I won’t give up on this world.

What is your reason for not giving up? When you find it, I believe the world will feel just a little bit more beautiful.

If you found this article relatable, I’d love for you to share it with others. And if you can, take a moment to say “thank you” to the person who makes your world beautiful. Doing so might just make your world a little brighter, too.
